Troop One of East Hartford CT

   Troop 1 marched in the Memorial Day Parade and attended Summer Camp at 
J.N. Webster Scout Reservation in Ashford. They played some volley ball, stick ball 
and Water polo. They competed against Troop 61 and had a ball! They also lashed the 
tallest flagpole of the week and raised the American Flag 42 feet into the air, more 
than doubling C.I.T.'s flagpole height. "We acknowledge Troop 1's pole is the biggest 
and crow is a tough meat to chew!" ~C.I.T. Spokesman
