June 26th, 2010 Troop 1 held an outdoor Court of Honor and Feast. We had a 31 pound
Top Round, Hambergers, Hotdogs Potato Salad, Ziti, Baked Beans and the kids cooked Fruit Cobbler
in the dutch ovens for desert! We had a visit by the oldestliving member of Troop 1, Art Retberg
and his son, Ken! The Cooker was on loan from Ron Begin. Our thanks to him for making the feast a
huge success. The court of Honor was great and scouts received meritbadges and ranks they had
earned this year. We even announced our newest Eagle, Brandon! At the end of the CoH, Gary Keel
officially announced his stepping down as Scoutmaster and Tim Lynch was welcomed in as hte new
Scoutmaster. Mr. Keel was then presented with a thank you gift and roasted by members of
the troop and leadership.
