June 27th 2010, Troop 1 attended AdventureBase 100. After breaking camp, Many of us headed
over to the Adventure Base 100 to check out just what National Council had set up! The description made
it sound awesome. Upon arriving, we were a little disappointed in it, but had a great time anyway, Many
of us took a turn volunteering, including a couple of the scouts! For volunteering, you got a patch!
The big attraction for us wasn't the museum, movie or Rope couarse, as many would think. It wasn't
standing in a 2-3 hour line for a flat penny or watching the OA Dance team. It was to see one of our members
honored as one of 12 people in our council that were nominated for the National Leadership Hall of Fame!
Mike Lynch, currently of Troop 1, is nominated and could be chosen in July! Congrats to Mike!
