Troop 1 attended Camp July 10-17, 2011 this year. We had a great week with lots of fun
and few issues! We had great inspections, earned a lot of merit badges and had great weather! Three
scouts completed Mile Swim! One scout made the conversion to Brotherhood on OA Day! Four Scoutmasters
completed the Scoutmaster Merit Badge! The Troop earned the Super Troop Award! A Huey Helicopter was
landed on the field Wednesday and a couple of our scouts challanged the soldiers to Pushup contests!
Mr. Kowzen showed a the troop how to play basketball, as he schooled a few of our scouts on the court.
Poor scouts. Mr Rodriguez showed what an enforcer does on the court. You ok Shawn? We continued our
antagonizing of the C.I.T. Core with more Flag Shenanigans on Friday Night. All in all, a great week
and I was very proud of all our scouts!
